Special thank yous to everyone at the Studio for putting this thing on -- I've learned a TON.

Since there's been so much talk of baking and baked goods exchanging going on in the forums during the contest, I thought I'd go with a theme to record and celebrate all those domestic moments in the kitchen. When I was growing up, my friend Dusty's grammie lived a few houses down, and her kitchen always smelled like cookies. It was an awesome early-50's kitchen of the future (despite being the mid '70's), with yellow and blue flower printed curtains and always a mason jar full of daisies. This kit was inspired by Dusty's grammie.

Kit includes:
* a button, colored 8 ways (sorry Toiny. LOL)
* a clip, also colored in all the palette colors
* 3 aprons (one full, two hostess)
* 3 mixing bowls in nesting sizes
* one curled ribbon
* one shelf with bunting liner
* one handmade button frame
* daisies to use either alone or in a jar
* a scalloped plastic circle frame
* 5 jello molds
* a cast iron skillet
* a polka dot ribbon
* 1950's era fridge and stove
* transparent mason jar
* scalloped pink journal card
* New! Improved! word art
* pink polka-dot ribbon wrap
* "From the Kitchen Of" recipe card (printable, too)
* two kinds of stars cut from vintage recipe cards
* a flatware frame
* yellow scrolly frame
* Kitchen-Aide stand mixer
* hand-drawn string bow
* hanging hand towel with applique chicken
* the window withe the yellow happy curtains
* wooden spoon

There's also a full litho alphabet (capitals), and fourteen coordinating papers (10 patterned and 4 semi-solids, mostly in element patterns or in 1950's wallpaper). I think I stuck in a quick page in the tou/preview folder, too.

**edit 10/01**
Thank you EVERYONE for the kind comments and your support through this competition!!! I love you guys.

What a fun kit! You've done some great work in this contest and should feel very proud! If there was a button to rate this, I would give you a 10! Best of luck!

Awesome kit!! Yep, brings back a lot of memories for me. I lost my favorite grandma many, many years ago who believe it or not still did all her cooking on a wood burning stove! She was an incredible cook and often wondered why she never got on electric stove, lol. My other grandma had a kitchen much like the one you drew here for the kit....also a great cook!! I definitely rate this kit a 10!! Keep up the great work and good luck!!

Adorable kit! It's so nice to see a new style of art make it's way into the digital scrapbooking world; you've done well... I hope we'll see more of your work. ;-)

CM! I haven't done anything -- I think maybe 4Shared is being difficult. If it's not back up by tomorrow, I'll try to find some alternate hosting for it for the day. Sorry about that!

And THANK YOU everybody! I'm SO happy y'all like it!

Hello peonyblue,

Have you taken the links down or is 4Shared still being weird? I was downloading the alpha, but it didn't go through. I managed to download the elements file, but none of the rest.

The weather in the USVI has been horrid -- tons of rain and terrific electric storms -- so I've been staying off the road and not going to the university lab where I connect to the Internet. That's why I haven't tried since the other day.

This is such a cute and unique kit that I would love to use in scrapping lots of photos of my sons and I cooking and baking during their growing year as well as baking with my mother at her house when they were little.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me and other folks who weren't able to download this kit before today.
