Journaling:
When we were all living in Michigan, we spent a LOT of time at Maybury State Park. We were so sad when the fire at the petting barn killed so many of the animals and with Grams and Papa helping us, we made donations and went to fund raisers to help build a new barn and get new animals.

On this day, we didn’t go to the new barn. It was a surprise that they started charging an admission fee! So, we went to the playground instead. When you saw the bouncy teeter-totter animals, you both got excited and want to ride them. You said “”We’re probably too big for that now.” Tori said she didn’t care, she was riding anyway and you smiled and joined her.

You were probably right, but you were both having too much fun to tell you that!
