Years ago when I heard about the World
War II Memorial being built, they
talked about a registry for veterans.
I found out how to add my dad online,
but it wasn't until last summer when
I went to a conference in Washington
D.C. that I had an opportunity to go
to the memorial and see it and find
my dad's name listed. We went on a
bus tour called Monuments by Moonlight,
and these photos were taken withmy
iPhone believe it or not! The monument
with the fountain lit up was breathtaking,
and one day I'm going back to walk around
in daylight!
