Although I use Photoshop, I didn't for this photo adjustment. Instead, I used the auto correct features in Storybook Creator (Color and Contrast), and then manually adjusted the shadows, highlights, midtones, brightness and contrast until I got the effect I wanted. Big difference, isn't it?
PS - my husband was cutting firewood and I merely posed with the chainsaw.

Just a note that the images look pixelated because I adjusted their size for display (or something along those lines), but in actuality they do not appear that way
