Yummy, crispy crust, chewy center artisan bread at home. You have to think ahead when making this bread, since it's an overnight process.

I had this recipe for over a year, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money to get the "special" kind of pot with a lid to cook it in. Someone told me to use a 2 quart, glass baking dish and it changed my bread making habits!

Ok I had to do one more...I have made this bread everyday this week, so I made a quick card today. Sooo easy, but requires time. You will want to make 2, I promise! No special tools needed, just get the pot and lid blazing hot! The dough will be sticky, but this cooks out and steams up the pot, making that crunchy crust and chewy center. I just tear chunks of bread off and dip in olive oil/balsamic..YUM!

I found this recipe on line recently and went out and bought that "special" pot [wish I'd known to use the covered glass dish]. We loved the bread and it was so easy for a beginner like me. Thanks for sharing the recipe.......now I don't have to put it on a card. You've done all the work!! Thanks so much.
