I like the way you've done your card. Your recipe sounds very good, too. Do you know how it got the name "Flapper Pie"?

Elaine, thank you for the comments.

Flapper pie was served in restaurants commonly when I was a child but I haven't seen it served there for many, many years. Your question about the name had me searching but I didn't find a quick answer. What I did notice is that most of the recipes have a bit of cinnamon in the graham pastry. Going to try that!

I was going to ask the same question Elaine did -- I initially wondered if this was a common type of pie during the flapper era in the 1920's and if that's how it got the name. Sounds like a great recipe...
