And old recipe from my mother for her FROM SCRATCH old fashioned Red Velvet Cake with whipped Frosting. It is soooo good!! I know it is a little late, but wanted to get it in there since I had started it and never finished. I am really looking forward to all of this month's recipes as well as what Maureen has in store for us for October.

It would probably be really dangerous for me to make this -- I'd eat the whole thing in one setting! I'm going to try this when I know I'll have other people around to help eat it...
