This is #2, taking into acct what nnorcutt said. So, I moved the tree and added the journaling to the 'window'. Is this better?

What a fun LO! I do like how the trees "frame" the picture much better in this version. Great job!

JUDGE - Yep, # 2 is improved over #1, in my opinion. Like Barbara said, please put all the credits with links, if the product is in the store. Also, I would add a shadow under the green mat.

Judge - I like the LO, a great improvement as compared to the first one, though, personlally I would leave out the blue bow and flower. If you only use the bronze clip, you really stick to the traight lines (repetition), and there is enough contrast in your colours.
But what bothers me is that you forgot the credits, altogether. Which elements or backgrounds did you use, from which kits by which designers? If you add this information, I think you are well on your way to the judging gallery.
