Kissin' Cousins #1

Kissin' Cousins #1

First try!

This is a picture of my son, Nicholas, and his cousin Ava at Easter. I intend to hold this picture ransom to embarrass him with when he is a teenager- lol!

Design credits are as follows:

The paper is from Kristin Aagard's "Just a Boy" kit.

The glitter swirls are from Carrie Stephens' "Spontaneous Delight" kit.

The lovely butterfly is my "sticker" and it is by Brenda Mascari. The sticker is labeled "butterfly glitter" and was an "anniversary sticker". I'm not sure if was part of a kit.

I used the "gems" from BonScrapatit's "It's Fallin" kit.

Finally, the frame is from "SaL's Summer's Gone" by Sailor and Lula Designs.

Thank you for your comments and feedback!

JUDGE - I agree with AneczkaW; this is an adorable page!

My only suggestion (and this might be a personal preference) is to shift everything (except the text) over to the right a bit so that the elements are not running off the edge of the page.

Thank you all. I was wondering whether I needed to add in some additional lighter swirls, stitches or something else to take the "line" from one side of the page to the other. I know that may be difficult to conceptualize, but if you have other thoughts PLEASE just let me know! I very much appreciate all the feedback!

JUDGE - just precious!!! A suggestion though would be to move your photo and element cluster up, so the right edge of your doodle touches the top like your left sided doodle touches the left side (move that over a bit so it doesn't trail off). Your title could go either next to the cluster then, or down to the right corner of the layout. Great 1st attempt - you got it all here it just needs to be moved around some.

JUDGE - that expression on little cousin's face is priceless! I don't think you need more swirlies (or any other elements) - what you have here is simple enough yet draws the eye to the photo. I would move them to the right just a smidge. Great job!
