My First Communion Day

My First Communion Day

I used JuliO's gorgeous Family History kit for this...I thought the lacey mat would be perfect...and dried roses and pearls...WOW!!! My mouth is closed because a princess does not show her missing teeth...;o)

The photo is old...about 66 years...and was tiny, wrinkled and stained...I was amazed that it turned out as well as it did. Our family is putting together a "Love" album for our youngest grandson who will receive his First Communion next May...it will also have letters and poems, etc.

The boy is quite special because his Mom & Dad had to wait through 14 years and Mom had 3 operations...almost died during one because she had a condition that no one knew about. He really is a GREAT kid...if you don't believe me, ask his Grandfather...;o)

P.S. I did not use journaling because that is in my letter to our grandson...;o)
If at first you don't succeed, throw a fit, and try again...practice makes perfect...;o)

What a beautiful endeavor to do this wonderful album for your grandson. Love the idea of the personal letter and its contents within the entire layout package. That photo is just awesome and bring back memories of yesteryear when photos for this occasion was seen more often than now. Congratulations to originators of the unique and special album of love. That layout is just awesome with the use of the specified design kit.
