In the book it seemed as if they were often having tea and needing to spiff themselves up before these types of occasions, too!

Gorgeous layout! I love the way you used to the curl for a note and and colouring the ribbon to go with your theme. Your beautiful extraction looks beautiful and I love the way you used the fan as a mat, with the bead frame.
It's funny that you mention that book! My grandmother was Russian. I remember when we would visit her - Grandma, Mom and I, would get dressed in our nicest outfits, including hats, gloves, perfume and accessories. We would go shopping, then stop at a local tea shoppe. Such a cool memory! :-)
