The photo shows one of the narrow back alleys in the town of Gaios on the island of Paxos in Greece.

For this page I've used the delightful new kit, called *Summertime Stories* which is available HERE at the store.

Hi mootscrapper! Here's a link to an absolutely awesome tutorial: It works in PSE with minor adjustments but only from version 10 upwards, as you need to use layer masks : http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...54&h=mAQE4Ra23

The differences between the CS version and the PSE10 (upwards) version are:

In step 4 one has to go into Enhance>Adjust Lighting>Levels and use the sliders (shortcut Ctrl+L).And brush selection in Elements doesn’t offer a choice of preset, so I used a n aquarel brush and as the very last step applied an oil painting filter to the original photo (NOT the mask this time). Most of all, don't be afraid to play around with the various filters and brushes until you achieve the effect YOU are happy with!
