Each year on May 5th the Dutch people remember the casualty's from world war II. This year all the kids in my daughters class where asked to write a poem. My dd's poem was chosen and she read it out loud during the memorial service. I was so proud of her, she really did awesome!!
Her poem was in Dutch of course, but it was about never to forget all that happened in WWII and never to take freedom for granted, since so many people died for it!
