We took Ollie to the beach at Gulf Shores on May 2, 2012. It was the first time he’d ever seen the gulf, or sand, for that matter.
He didn’t like the sand at first and kept picking up his feet with this puzzled expression on his face. When we took him to the water’s edge, he hated it. He ran away from the waves and barked at them. After he found a few dried clumps of seaweed, and chased a couple of sand crabs he decided the beach wasn’t such a bad place after all.
