From the first moment I saw the kit, Not Just A Hero by The Urban Fairy I was in love with it. The colors are so rich and vivid and the elements worked perfectly not just for all the military photos I have, but also for pages that need more masculine items.

The photo is of my husband's step-grandfather during his service in World War II. Since my husband's biological grandfather died when his mom was a teenager, this is the man he called Grandpa and really looks up to as the definition of a true war hero. I love the photo and I'm so glad I found such a wonderful kit to show it off with. The font used was Engravers MT. The title and quote were both wordarts from the kit.
