I work for a vet and, occasionally, we may foster kittens. These babies were found during Hurricane Irene and, because the client sustained extensive damage to his home, we took them. Fortunately, they were just barely old enough to be interested in eating solid food, though we were able to get mom a few days later so she could continue nursing them. They're about 4 weeks old in these pics.

They're all named for hurricanes; Irene is the runt and is pictured at the lower right and top center (and she IS a hurricane!).
