This past Monday we attended the funeral of my Uncle Jim

A Final Farewell
James (Jim) J. Gerg Born November 14, 1919 Died June 26, 2008 buried June 30, 2008 Rest-Haven Memorial Park Eugene, Oregon Joined the navy in 1939 Served his country with honor until 1945

He will be missed by his wife Flora, son Danny, daughter Mona, many other family members and his many friends.

oh my gosh!! this is just stunning! and so very touching! this is a beautiful tribute! I am so honored to have played a small part in honoring one of our country's noble veterans. God Bless your family in this time of sorrow.

My, oh my, you have truly captured both the sadness of loss and the honor of your uncle's military service in this LO. It is extremely beautiful and moving. Thank you so much for sharing this with us and, to you and all of your Uncle Jim's family, my sincerest condolences.
