My Dad A WWII hero

I used SKrapper Digital's Black Label Classics titled Jan. which was all Americana based kits.

My hero was always my Dad. Dad flew 142 missions out of China and India in World War II along with being in the Phillipine Islands with his B-24, for the Army Air Corp and later in Korea for the Air Force. Though he went through 7 planes,in WWII, all of them totaled, he brought them and all aboard back to the base safely, except one. His best friend and first co pilot was killed on the strip in China by a sniper. He won a number of medals but was most proud of his distinquished flying cross. I dearly wish I'd gotten his records before all were burned in the St. Louis fire.

My heart goes out to those with loved ones serving today. Bless them all.
