True Hero

Journaling: On 8/23/09, while serving a warrant, Zanesville, OH Police K-9 Officer Bosco and his partner, Ptl. Mike Schiele, were shot. Ptl. Schiele

was treated and released and credits his partner

with saving his life. Bosco, however, was gravely

injured and his life hung in the balance. Initially paralyzed, Bosco was rushed to The Ohio State University Veterinary Hospital. Thanks to the outstanding care he received there, his life

was saved and, after intensive therapy, he was able to walk again. He now serves in the police epartment’s PR department as a wonderful reminder of all of the “first responders” who daily put their lives on the line. And his recovery is a further testament to all of the health care professionals who provide care to the furry members of the family of Man.

fabulous layout and journalling.
