Pictures are of baby Jake born last spring and a picture of a baby used as the body for Jake since his clothes were not the right color. I also cut and blurred the blue paper. I lightened the journaling circle to represent the sun.

The season of Spring we celebrate renewal and rebirth through color and light, and in our lives also being aware that the colors change with each season. Spring of last year we celebrated with the birth of Jake. He has been a bundle of joy and one of the happiest babies since arriving on 8 May 2010. The greens represent growth and new beginnings and the yellow is associated with light and the sun. Yellow is also the color of happiness and joy which Jake definitely was to all of us. Blue is the color of heaven and the color of peace and harmony. All new babies represents peace and harmony, happiness and joy and definitely new beginnings of a new life.
So cute and so creative with the morphing of photos and I especially like how you used the button/brad element as a pillow for Jake in the top photo. Very clever. Good luck!Rose Thorn aka ladyofthethorns My Blog
gorgeous layout. beautiful composition.

Great journaling! I LIKE how you did all the paper "framing." Also, I like how you have the brads down the side edge!
Fantastic journaling Carol! It ties the layout together perfectly! And Jake was born on my daughter's Birthday, what a small world! He is a cutie and I LOVE the creative way you used the baby body for him! Great page!
