This layout was made using Tears On My Pillow, by Julie C., available at http://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio...oducts_id=4449

I loved the color scheme in this kit, and playing with all the textures was fascinating - hence the multidimensional feel to my page... Tears on my pillow - in this case, they were tears of joy! I am so thankful for the gift God has given me in my husband, and while our life together has taken us many places, I am always home when we are together.

Now it's time to confess all the damage I actually did to Julie's lovely kit:
I did a lot of flipping, rotating, and resizing in this LO. As for cropping, if you look closely, I cropped a paper to make a window, and the falling tears as well, which made a sunshower outside. (I love sunshowers, they make me feel so happy - it's when the sun is shining brightly while still raining. What better allegory for tears of joy?!) I also cropped the bedroom paper to frame it in the small layout leaning against the pillows. There are two cropped papers in my circle frame. I must confess, I also played with the opacity of all my curtains, to make them more sheer (so romantic!), as well as my tears of joy (upside down teardrops), to make them a bit more transparent. I erased the middle of the brown paper to make my frame, and added words all around. I did increase the contrast of the brown bow, to create more dimension, so all my cluster elements would look evenly exposed (as if photographed all together, rather than separately). I added a soft yellow glow behind my lighting elements, and sorry, but the shadows are all different in that dimension and this one, due to the different lighting. I think that's all the altering I did, though parts of elements are missing if they are behind something, or "falling off the edge of my page".

This was a lot of fun, and if all the layers weren't slowing my computer down, I could have kept right on going... this kit is so inspiring!

OMG...I feel like I could walk right into that room with you and your husband!!! That's the best 3-D layout I have ever seen. Hat's off to you...I bow low to the 'Queen of 3-D'.

Good luck in the contest (as though you will need that with this layout) LOL
