Custom Collection Sunday

It’s time for Custom Collection Sundays… on a Monday! We are still one day off schedule.  Wooooooohooooooo!  What is a Custom Collection Sundays? It is a chance for each of you to request a Custom Collection from one of our Designers. Every week one person wins their request.

On October 5; Diana requested:

Well…I’m going to keep trying since this is fun to see all the ideas…I would love a kit to create a book for my husband who is rebuilding a 1967 Chevy Chevelle. I would love to put together a progressive scrapbook that shows the rebuild as a surprise for him (perhaps present it to him for his birthday next year). A kit that contains classic cars and/or mechanical items would be cool…plus the emphasis could be on cruise night-50’s, 60’s, 70’s themed car stuff (fuzzy dice anyone?)…a big time car event we love to go to…thanks!

This week, Jill,  Jilbert’s Bits and Bytes,  has released the Boy’s Club – Collection:

Boy's Club - Collection
Boy's Club - Elements
Boy's Club - Trading Cards
Boy's Club - Vintage Postcards
This is a truly fantabulous collection for all the men, boys & car lovers out there! Diana, check your email for your FREE copy of this gorgeous collection today!  Jill has also graciously given me a 10% additional coupon off Boy’s Club – Collection or Boy’s Club – Page Kit for the rest of our faithful readers.  Use coupon code:  CARSCARSCARS

Note: Coupon expires November 15, 2014

Now, it’s time for my favorite part of every week… picking a new Custom Collections Sunday winner!  I had quite a few fabulous request to choose from:

Wishing for scrapbooking kits that match any of my grandchildren’s activities ( there don’t seem to be any for their choices): tap dancing; cross country; wrestling; karate; chess; cello

from: Nancy Holland

I would love to see a girl elf on the shelf kit. I have a boy kit and the girl elf just arrived at my house… Would love to see the kit in traditional Christmas colors. Would love to see several poses for the elf and some extra outfits would be awesome! Thanks for the chance!

I would love to see a Girl Scout kit.
Colors would include the colors of the vests. WA could include words like respect, leadership, friendship, honor…
Thanks again!!

from: Andie

And the winner this week…. Lois!

I have another suggestion. With Christmas fast approaching I would like to see a kit showing the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas is about Jesus’ birth so would love items related to the Nativity.

I also still would like that kit for single Mom’s as mentioned last time as well :)

Maurine,  Let Me Scrapbook, is already hard at work on your wonderful request!

Very important note: I will post a new winner every week, however, please do not expect your Custom Collection to be ready within a week.  Scrapbooking Collections take time, and that time varies by Designer.  Some of our team are full-time designers, others are part-time. Some are new mommies with littles at home, and others are Grandmothers.  Some of us are both.

I cannot wait to see the requests this week, please post away your biggest wishes in the comments below.  Comments are open to everyone.  New comments, and repeat comments are welcome.  I will post a new winner next week, along with a new release & a sneak peek!

But first, I want to announce the winner of last week’s Fuji Camera Giveaway… drumroll please!

camera_winner01Comment #83 belongs to: Lana Fischer! Congrats Lana!  Steph, ScrappyCocoa, will be contacting you shortly to send that sweet little camera your way.

Now, on to our Tuesday Blog Giveaway this week: Knives!  Why knives, you ask?  Well, simple really.  I fell in love with this set and I worked very hard to make them be all about digital scrapbooking.  When you look at them, don’t they just look like elements someone would throw in a cooking/kitchen/recipe kit?  They do, don’t they?  And that ties in perfectly with Maurine’s, Let Me Scrapbook, monthly challenge: The Recipe Card Challenge.  Our number one favorite challenge at theStudio.

Every month Maurine posts a fun theme to build our recipes around. At the end of the month, all participants receive a link to download all the cards created that month.  Not only is this a great way to build your own recipe box, but all the cards for each theme match in color (there’s free mini’s involved for our regular participants).  This makes the recipe cards easy to organize at home.  I love mine!  This has become my go-to resource for recipes for almost anything under the sun.

Hence, therefore, soforth, we have this fabulous set of knives to giveaway today!  Just comment below & wait patiently till next Tuesday & see if you’ve won this adorable, sharp, set of knives:

Love is finding your stocking filled with the things you love and knowing that the person who filled it knows you like nobody else in the world. My husband and I are pretty good at choosing gifts for each other. We never do the typical department store Christmas, but rather focus on unique and personal items. […]
