I've often wondered about the different ways one can create a watercolor background without actually having to paint it by hand. Well, I've found a way to do it by providing you with a grayscale overlay of some of my own painted backgrounds. All you need to do is color it and if you use one of my watercolor brush packs (or someone elses) to add that color, it will look even more realistic. This product contains 6 full size (12 x 12) highly detailed JPG files that were created and saved at 300 dpi.
These overlays are ok for commercial use along with S4H, S4O, and Personal Use friendly. You may also use them for creating freebies.
No credit required for the use of these items, but it's definitely appreciated.
A tutorial with ideas on how to use Painterly Overlays is on my blog -- Working with Painterly Overlays.
